What can rebound therapy do for your child?
At The Vauld there is a large, purpose built, ground level trampoline with secure netting. It is used to teach the child to trampoline using the momentum, rhythm and reactiveness of the trampoline bed to provide external stimulation and using variety of positions to help a child learn core stability, balance, co-ordination and communication.
The use of the trampoline to gain physical, physiological and therapeutic effects upon the body’s systems (cardio-respiratory, musculoskeletal, neurological, digestive and sensory).
It is used for variety of clinical reasons e.g.to improve motor skills, body awareness, stamina/ strength, influence tone, loosen/ assist removal of secretions and relieve constipation by increasing abdominal pressure.
The Rebound is used along with hippo and physiotherapy to provide that extra element to your child's development.
